The Old Bakery

Brief

The Old Bakery in Hartland is a coffee shop and cafe based in what was once the village bakery. The owners needed an identity for the coffee shop and requested something laid back and shabby chic in keeping with the shop decor and the owner’s tastes.

The solution

We started out by just designing a logo which was used for the signage outside the shop. The logo was then used as the basis for a more developed identity making use of natural colours and textures to be used in printed items such as menus, business cards, DL fly leaflets and advertising posters. All of these elements where then used to design and build their website.

The website is based on the WordPress framework enabling the owners to add news and update the menu themselves.
